His separation from his mother and the way he is ridiculed for his large ears are particularly heartbreaking. It captures the emotional depth and timeless message of self-acceptance and perseverance that has made Dumbo a cherished tale for generations. **

The problem of racism in Dumbo is evident in the portrayal of the crows in the original 1941 animated film. The crows are depicted using stereotypical African-American accents and mannerisms, perpetuating harmful racial stereotypes. This portrayal has been criticized for its racist undertones and contributes to the larger issue of racism in media and popular culture. The characterizations of the crows have been a point of contention and highlight the need for more inclusive and sensitive representation in media. **
